I am a Tennessee based Licensed Clinical Social Worker, serving adolescents and adults of all backgrounds throughout the state. I am a Certified Nutritional and Mental Health Clinical Specialist, and my approach is rooted in health and wellness, bringing attention to the mind body connection. I employ a strength-based and client centered perspective utilizing mindfulness and the whole health model to support my clients. In addition to this holistic practice, I draw from multiple therapeutic models to ensure that our work together is insightful and personalized to your needs.
As part of my practice, I am committed to providing mental health care for first responders. As a wife to a law enforcement officer, I have seen first hand the ramifications of dedicating your life to protect others, often at the expense of your own. Whether you are experiencing work stress, burnout, marital conflicts, critical incident trauma, or anything in between, I am here to help you navigate through that journey.
Originally from New Jersey, I moved to Tennessee 8 years ago to continue my work within the mental health field. In 2015, I received an undergraduate degree in Counseling and Human Services from The University of Scranton in PA. I then went on to obtain a Masters degree in Social Work from New York University in 2017. I am also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) in the state of Tennessee. Through this certification, I am able to approach my clients through a trauma-informed lens, and implement treatment with evidence based practices.
I am a mother to two wonderful children, and have been married for 7 years to my husband who is a first responder in Nashville. I love being outdoors, and will spend any time I can lounging at the beach in the Outer Banks, NC.
